Unbreakable Youth

Explore your faith, Live your faith!

It's all about being in community, connecting with others, and encouraging one another in faith.  It's about strengthening our walk with Christ by having an intentional relationship with God and one another.  Check out our calendar to find out what we are doing.  We invite you to explore and live your faith within this encouraging community, as we see to spread God's hope in the world.

Every Sunday from 4:30-6:30 p.m., teens in the 6th-12th grade gather for music, games, group building activities, snacks, devotions, prayer and fun.  Service opportunities, mission trips, retreats and social activities are offered throughout the year.

On Wednesday evenings the youth are invited to be part of our "Creative Youth" ministry (formerly the youth choir).  Under the leadership of Jennifer Hunt, the young people plan and present skits, songs, readings, videos and other creative events for Sunday worship.  Most of the youth come for dinner at 5:30 and stay for the Youth Bible study that follows the Creative Youth.  The Bible study, led by one of our adult leaders, runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

In June, the teens serve as group leaders for the Vacation Bible School program.   They participate in opening and closing celebrations, assist during the dinner time, and are responsible for the children as move between classes and assist the instructors with specific needs.

A week long trip is usually planned for the summer, either to a conference setting, or to a place where hands-on mission work is done.
