Where to Park:

Our church has a paved area, well marked along the covered walkway, for handicapped parking. There are also several spaces marked for visitors, just outside the sanctuary. In Oakland, we choose not to pave over every inch of our property, and so we park on the grass. In the hot summer months, the huge oak trees provide plenty of shade to keep our cars a little cooler.

Where to Enter:

Enter through the double doors that lead to the Narthex, an areaat the rear of the sanctuary. It is here that you will be greeted by one of our members and given a visitor name tag and a welcome packet with information and small mementos from our church.

Sunday Worship Times:

8:45 a.m. Blended Worship Service

11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service

6:05 p.m. Cafe Worship on the Third Sunday of each month

No matter which service you attend, we believe that everyone should be involved in the worship experience. Throughout our services, we strive to develop a God-centered atmosphere, one that allows each of us to connect with Him.

Nursery/Child Care:

Child care is provided in the Nursery for all worship services as well as Sunday school. The Nursery has two trained staff members, and church volunteers assist when needed. Each parent is provided with a beeper, so the staff may contact you if you are needed by your child for any reason during worship or Sunday school.

Young Children in Worship:

Parents should feel free to keep their young children with them in worship, as we believe that children learn how to worship by being in worship.On Sunday mornings, children have a special bulletin, with Biblical activities designed to interest and teach. At our 11:00a.m. worship service, we provide children’s church for those age 4 through second grade. Children join their parents in the sanctuary for about 10-15 minutes, until they are invited to the front of the church for a brief children’s message. The children may then leave the sanctuary to attend a special worship experience planned just for them.

Sunday School:

Classes for all ages meet at 9:45a.m.
