Where Do I Start?

Take a few minutes to download and complete the attached wedding questionnaire. It will allow us to better understand the size and scope of your wedding, guide us on what type of services would be most relevant to you, and help us make recommendations that will be right for your needs. When it's complete, you may email it to the church at welcome@oaklandpres.org.  We will respond via email or telephone. If you decide you would like to hear further about Oakland Presbyterian's wedding services, we'll arrange a meeting with you and the wedding coordinator at your earliest convenience. At that time, the wedding coordinator will take you on walk-through of our complete facility, to help you decide which facility would best suit your needs.

Marriage Preparation Counseling

Our Pastor will work with you through Marriage Preparation Counseling. Your time together will focus on preparing for a lifetime of marriage … connecting, discovering, and learning to love each other in the uniqueness of marriage. In the three sessions of counseling, we will discuss the results of your personality assessments, communication skills, conflict resolution, goals in finances and family, keeping romance alive, sexuality, intimacy and spirituality. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate which affords you a discount on your marriage licensure at the Court House in Orange County, FL. In accordance with the State of Florida laws of confidentiality, all records are held in the strictest confidence. The process begins with a phone call to the church office.
