OAKLAND KIDS
THE OPC CHILDREN'S CHOIR
WE BELIEVE EVEN
THE LITTLEST CAN LEAD.
At Oakland Pres, our children are an important part of our church family. Through the Children's Choir, we integrate them into our service in a meaningful way, obeying Christ's command to "let the little children come unto me".
Led by our Children's Music Director, Bonnie Litteral, the kids enjoy singing, creative expression, scarves, puppets, and rhythm instruments, learning foundational music skills from the youngest members to our seasoned singers. They lead worship several times a year and take part in a traditional Christmas pageant, weaving into the rhythms of the liturgy and church calendar.
Oakland Kids: Choir and Bible Night
Choir rehearsal is part of our Wednesday night kids' program, running from 5:30-7:30 during the school year. In addition to their choir time, kids participate in Bible learning, fun activities, recreational time, and a kid-friendly healthy dinner. Children age 3* to 5th grade are eligible. Feel free to contact us for more information, or if you're all-in, sign up for our program right here!
*All children must be toilet-independent.
OAKLAND STUDENTS: for grades 6-12
We work to keep our teens strong in their faith and in good relationship to one another, their families, and our community. In this challenging but exciting season we hope to build today's young people into tomorrow's leaders and pillars of the church. Our youth group is small and personal, meeting weekly to build friendships and have fun as they fall in love with Jesus. Meetings are Sundays at 9:45-10:45 am. Check our calendar for any upcoming special events! Have questions? Contact our youth ministries director, Russell Williams, at russell@oaklandpres.org.

YCM BAND
At OPC we believe everyone should have access to a music education. To that end we host the Young Christian Musicians Band -- a ministry for the vibrant homeschool community in central Florida.
Students in the Band attend weekly rehearsals at the church during the school year. They have opportunities for both performance and competition and gain the valuable experience of playing together.
There is no cost for instruction. No church membership is required. A $50 fee covers ministry expenses, and students must provide their own instruments. From grade 2 to 12, come experience the joy of an affordable homeschool music education!
