OAKLAND PRESBYTERIAN
PRESCHOOL
Oakland Presbyterian Preschool is a ministry of Oakland Presbyterian Church. We offer a high-quality preschool program in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment. Our teachers are fingerprinted and must pass a nationally screened background check. They are all trained and certified according to state standards. We use a Christian faith-based curriculum, and we focus on appropriate preschool goals. Our primary purpose is to teach, guide, and love children, to make a lifelong impression on their lives and the lives of their families, and to teach them about the love of Jesus Christ. Please note that we are not a daycare- we can not enroll children under age 2, and we do not offer drop-off before 8:30 am or pick-up past 3:15 pm. For information, contact our director at preschool@oaklandpres.org.

Program Director
Yohan Murillo
Yohan was born in West Palm Beach and moved to Oakland in January 2018. He began working with the preschool in April 2018, as the previous director took notice of how well he interacted with his nephew during pick-up, and immediately asked him for an interview. He taught at the preschool while finishing his degree and graduated in 2021. He was promoted to Director upon the retirement of our previous director in 2022.
Yohan has helped coach varsity basketball for Horizon High school in their inaugural year of 2021-22. In his free time he enjoys playing and watching basketball and soccer .
