The OPC
SCHOLARSHIP
Each year with funding from anonymous donors, Oakland Presbyterian Church offers need-based scholarships for graduates of West Orange and South Lake County schools.
The undergraduate scholarship is equal to approximately $30,000, and covers 100% of the actual cost of tuition, books, and fees for in-state public universities. It can also be used for private or out-of-state schools.
Funding for full-time enrollment is available for up to 5 years, and 8 years for part-time.
The funds are limited to students with a maximum annual income, for a family of four, of $69,000 during 2023.
The student must demonstrate a reasonable likelihood of completing post-secondary education.
The student must document previous active participation in school, church, and community volunteer activities.
Successful applicants must maintain a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
